On Friday the Grant County Health District reported 68 new coronavirus cases which is the most for a 24-hour period in recent history. Officials say COVID-19 transmission locally, statewide, and nationwide is spreading quickly. Grant County is approaching 4,000 cases with 28 deaths and 8 pending death certificate review. Adams County has 36 new cases over Friday and Saturday with 4 hospitalized and 12 total deaths.
