Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies aided the Connell Police Department in stopping a driver leading officers on a chase. The 9-mile-long chase ended in the 2100 block of W. Cunningham Rd where Emmanuel Ayala of Othello ran from his car. He was apprehended a short time later. Ayala was handed over to Connell Police where he’s been charged with eluding. Similar charges may also be brought in Adams County.
