A charitable organization is donating a shuttle bus to a Soap Lake long-term care facility until that organization can obtain their own new bus. The donation to the McKay Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center came from People For People, a charity that provides workforce development, transportation to those without it, and Medicaid transportation. The bus will be used for medical appointments and activities. So far McKay has raised about half of the $21,000 needed to purchase their new bus.
