It’s the end of another season at the Moses Lake Sand Dunes and Mud Flats. The official closure was on Thursday and it will remain closed until July 1. The sand dunes and mud flats are managed by the state’s Fish and Wildlife. Anyone violating the mud flats closure will be cited with a $1,700 non-negotiable fine. The annual cleanup is to take place this weekend.
