Word is out that French fry maker, McCain Foods, will continue construction on the $300 million expansion of its plant in Othello this month. The Capital Press reports McCain issued a press release saying the 170,000 square-foot plant addition will add a new production line meaning more jobs and more demand on local potato growers. The McCain Foods plant is located on Lee Street in Othello.
