Grant PUD’s campgrounds saw a record number of visitors this year. Through Labor Day weekend, the campgrounds had a 20% overall increase compared to 2019. That record was reached despite a 45-day shutdown due to COVID-19. A financial analysis presented at the PUD Commissioner’s meeting found the total net annual cost of providing recreational amenities was $6.8 million including a $2 million offset which includes revenues from venue fees as well as Crescent Bar residential lease rents and marina fuel sales.
