Charges are filed against a man who attempted to sexually assault an Ellensburg bus driver. Police say it happened Wednesday when Ronnie Lee Meyers of Yakima attacked the woman driver near W. Fith Ave. Meyers was the only rider on the bus. According to investigators a passerby tried to distract Meyers by beeping their horn which gave the driver a chance to escape. He was booked into the Kittitas County Jail on attempted rape and felony assault.
