Big Bend Community College’s Viking Food Pantry distributed items to 60 local families in need. Pantry staff took the first week of fall quarter to engage students who picked up items at the bookstore or library as well as workforce education students on campus. The giveaway was done to promote awareness that the pantry is available to help students. Manned drop-in hours for Fall Quarter are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
