Republican State Senators are again calling on Gov. Jay Inslee to bring lawmakers back to Olympia for a special session for a number of issues most recently being the wildfire outbreak that’s ravaged parts of the state. Republican Floor Leader Shelley Short issued a statement saying lawmakers should have been brought back already to address the COVID-19 financial fallout. The Senate is working on a bill to find forest health activities for the Department of Natural Resources.
