New information is released on a Wednesday night fatal collision near Quincy. Police say Tito Mendez of Othello was going south on Road K NW when he failed to stop at the intersection with State Route 28 resulting in his car colliding with a pickup truck. Mendez was taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center where he died. The other drive identified as Simon Mendoza of Ephrata was hurt but didn’t required hospitalization.
