A Kittitas County Vietnam veteran is honored for his committment to volunteering at Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary School. Ronald Jacobson received recognition from the national Veterans of Foreign War offices as a part of their “Still Serving” campaign. Commander Hal Roesch thanked Jacobson for his work to mentor so many kids. He volunteers thousands of hours at the school doing everything from helping kids with reading and math to being the lunchroom monitor.
