Work continues to contain the Pearl Hill fire in Douglas County and the Cold Springs Canyon fire. Full contaiment of the 223,000 acre Pearl Hill fire is expected to be achieved today while the Cold Springs Canyon fire is at 50% containment. A couple who lost their one-year-old child in the fire learned they also lost their unborn child. The couple were severely burned and are at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
