The Evans Canyon Fire is 60% contained and so far consumed over 75,000 acres. According to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office the fire lines are still holding and there’s been no changes in evacuation levels which are at Level 2 for Overlook Road, Coyote Run Road and Long Tom Canyon Road. State Route 821 is closed at Thrall Road, except for local traffic only.
