The Grant County Sheriff’s Office announced K-9 Chicka is retiring after 4 years of duty. Chicka will now live with her handler Sergeant Ric Char and his family in Moses Lake. In a Facebook post the department said one of Chicka’s retirement demands is that she be replaced with a worthy K-9 and one was found in Spokane by the name of Zadak or Zedd for short. Zedd and his new handler are now certified and will hit the streets soon.
