A two-car crash on State Route 17 near Moses Lake shut down the roadway for around four hours. Police say a 72-year-old from Ephrata was heading southbound near Randolph Road when he crossed the center line hitting an oncoming SUV. The Ephrata man who police say wasn’t wearing a seat belt was first taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake then airlifted to a Spokane Facility. The other driver was taken to Samaritan Hospital.
