Two people are facing charges for starting the Colockum Fire last month which consumed nearly 3,000 acres. According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s office the man and woman started the fire July 24 at milepost 0.6 on Kingsbury Road over what investigators determined was a possible landlord-tenant dispute. The two were seen driving away in a super-duty pickup after the fire started. Officials say it cost more than $2 million to get the fire out.
