Slade Gordon Passes Away At 92

Former U.S. Senator Slade Gordon has died at the age of 92. The Republican served as Washington Attorney General before serving 3 terms in the Senate. Gordon also served on the 9/11 Commission which investigated and reported on the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He is also credited with keeping the Seattle Mariners from moving by arranging a 1991 deal where local ownership including Nintendo’s owner purchased the team.
