Authorities identify the man whose remains were found at a Quincy home as 29-year-old Abel Vargas. An autopsy determined Vargas died from a single gunshot wound. According to Quincy Police Vargas was last seen at a Rocky Avenue home on Aug. 8 and 3 days later officers were called to that home after the family of the suspected killer reported a foul odor coming from his bedroom. That man identified as Martin Diaz was jailed last week on $1.5 million bail.
