The suspect in a Wednesday confrontation in Othello is apprehended in Franklin County. Police say Aarun Urbina was wanted on outstanding warrants and was located in an alley near the 800 block of E. Larch St. An officer notified dispatchers Urbina had a gun and that officer fired shots. It’s not clear if Urbina was hurt. He was found Thursday by U.S. Marshals and taken into custody. The Othello officer is on paid leave during the shooting investigation.
