The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce reports nearly 65 businesses received funding from the $2.2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act signed into law last March. Most of the businesses are service providers followed by retail, restaurant, construction and hospitality. District 3 County Commissioner Brett Wachsmith tells the Daily Record the awards process involved local stakeholders who made funding recommendations.
