The Saddle Mountain Fire in Grant County is now 90% contained and consumed around 9800 acres. The Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team reported the acreage count was lowered after better mapping data was obtained. The fire line is holding, and crews have not reported any hot spots. It is not uncommon to find a spot pop up over the next few days and produce some smoke in the interior of the fire area. Around 100 firefighters remain on duty.
