Investigators say it may have been a mechanical or electrical issue that started a Basin City hay processing plant on fire early Tuesday. More than a dozen fire trucks converged at the Sage Hill Northwest Plan on Hollingsworth Road. It took about 6 hours to get the fire out. At least one building was destroyed along with packing erquipment and hay. No injuries were reported. .
