The City of Ephrata is offering help to those having difficulty paying utility bills because of the coronavirus outbreak. The City Council is temporarily suspending utility late fees and delaying non-payment disconnections for both residental and commercial customers with less than $5 million in annual revenue. Officials say they are also extending the time frame for paying late bills to double the amount of time a billpayer is out of work.
