Grant County commissioners have allocated about $5 million in federal funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act including $1.4 million to the health district for expenses during the COVID-19 outbreak and $2.5 million for small business and nonprofit grants. Those grants are being administered through the Grant County Economic Development council which currently administers the application process for the county’s Strategic Infrastructure Program grants. The EDC will develop an application process and provide a recommendation to the county commissioners for grant awards.
