Boeing Issues Statement On Parked 737MAX Jets

It’s looking like the parking lot full of Boeing 737 MAX jets won’t be emptied out any time soon. Company spokesman Doug Alder says their team working at the Grant County International Airport is staffed accordingly and continues its work to ensure that 737s are maintained and ready for delivery once they receive approval. The timing of that approval will be decided by federal regulators. Boeing is paying more than $50,000 a month for the parking space at the airport.
