The Central Basin Target Zero Task Force is rolling out its high visability emphasis patrols this week in Quincy as a result of recent increases in dangerous driving. Target Zero manager Alison Mitchell says the task force stayed off the roads during the coronavirus outbreak but with the state moving toward reopening and more drivers on the roads they decided this was the time for the patrols. Over 85 drivers were pulled over on Monday with around three-quarters receiving tickets.
