Over 600 employees at Lamb Weston plants in Warden and Connell will be losing their jobs as of today due to company-wide layoffs. The Eagle, Idaho, company is one of the largest potato product producers in the world manufactruing items for restaurants and food service businesses. According to the Employment Security Department the layoffs represent a job loss of 11% in Warden and 6.5% for Connell. Worksource officials are setting up a rapid response event for laid off workers.
