The City of Quincy joins the City of Ephrata in closing the community swimming pool due to the coronavirus outbreak and the state’s phased-in reopening plans. Officials say even if they could re-open the pool swimmers would not be able to touch or play together on the water toys. The pool would also require multiple hourly opening and closing periods for sanitation measures. The city plans to open its playground equipment and other park activities as social distancing requirements are relaxed in Phase 3.
