Protests In Grant County Over Stay At Home Order

Demonstrators turned out Friday in Ephrata to protest Governor Jay Inslee’s extension of the stay-at-home executive order until at least May 31. The protest at the Grant County Courthouse organized by a group called Restore Washington attracted over five dozen participants. Organizers say they want the public to contact their county commissioners to request they form a coalition with other counties to get the economy open. Last Friday Inslee announced the state would phase in the lifting of restrictions in four stages.
