The Moses Lake City Council is asked to consider allocating land in Longview Tracks to construct a homeless camp site. A request for proposals was opened from contractors interested in partnering with the city to manage the camp and city staff asked the council to approve one of those proposals. The camp is being paid for with a $388,000 federal grant. Future plans including constructing permanent supporting housing at the State Route 17 site.
