A man is facing charges after opening fire Thursday afternoon in Othello. Police say it happened in the 200 block of East Main Street and an investigation determined Tony Cantu had shot at a woman. She was not hurt. Cantu was in his vehicle on Lee Road, between state Route 17 and Billington Road and was apprehended after a short standoff. He is jailed for assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a firearm.
