Governor Jay Inslee announced a force of more than 1,300 contact tracers is ready to work with area health departments once a case of coronavirus is confirmed. The majority are state or local health professionals with hundreds of National Guard members and Department of Licensing personnel also being deployed. Inslee says the goal is to contact those who test positive within 24 hours of testing and to contact those the people came in contact with within 48 hours.
