Electric Aircraft Test Flight Today

Flights tests are scheduled today for what is being described as the world’s largest all-electric commercial plane. Redmond, Washington-based MagniX along with AeroTec built the 10-passenger eCaravan plane from a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan equipping it with a 750-horsepower electric motor. This is the second aircraft converted by MagniX and AeroTec with the first being a six-passenger de Havilland Beaver seaplane.
