The Grant County Commissioners issued a statement Monday to clarify misleading information that they have the authority to reopen non-essential businesses. This statutory authority lies with the Governor and they are required to follow the Governors order. The statement says the commissioners understand the plight and angst that all of our constituents are going through. They will begin reopening Grant County in accordance to the Governor’s phased approach and ask people to be diligent and understanding during this tumultuous time.
