A woman is dead in a two-car crash Monday near Desert Aire. Police say 38-year-old Cricelia Zepedaacevedo of Desert Aire was going north on State Route 243 when she drifted off the road to the right then overcorrected and went into the southbound lanes where she hit an oncoming vehicle. Zepedaacevedo died at the scene while the other driver was hospitalized for broken bones. SR 243 was shut down for five hours.
