Grant County Prosecutor Garth Dano and area law enforcement agencies say they are concerned over the state’s decision to release 34 inmates from the county who are in state prisons because of the coronavirus outbreak. Dano said he plans to send a letter to the state Department of Corrections and Gov. Jay Inslee urging the state to reconsider the inmate release plan. Police say many of those on the release list have lengthy criminal histories.
