Police Calls Down Due To COVID

Area law enforcement agencies are reporting calls for service are changing from what they were before the coronavirus outbreak. Grant County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ken Jones says they are getting fewer service calls due to the stay-at-home order but they see an increase in juvenile crimes with school buildings being closed. Moses Lake Police Chief Kevin Fuhr says they’re seeing around a 20% decrease in callers.
