The Moses Lake Education Association is reacting to school board president Elliot Goodrich’s suggestion that the district cut pay because the coronavirus outbreak ended in person classes. According to a letter sent to the board the association feels Goodrich’s comments insulted an entire staff of educators and he doesn’t have the best interests of the school district in mind. Goodrich proposed a 20 percent pay cut because the district is now using distance learning.
