Governor Jay Inslee extends Washington’s stay-at-home order through May 4. Inslee’s original order was set to expire on Monday but while the state’s efforts to contain COVID 19 have been in his words robust they have an obligation to recognize there is a hard road ahead. Violating the order is punishable by a misdemeanor charge but law enforcement says their priority is education first.
