Some residential construction could re-start this week under directives issued by Governor Jay Inslee. Under Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Safe order home building was listed as a non-essential industry but since then the governor has been asked to change that designation. Under the so-called Phase 1 safety requirements only activities on existing construction projects can resume if work can be done while maintaining the six-foot social distancing requirements.
