Confluence Cuts Pay

The coronavirus outbreak has taken its toll on many businesses and now it’s affecting healthcare providers. Confluence Health officials say that because of high COVID-19 costs and the cancellation of elective surgeries its had to implement temporary salary reductions including CEO Peter Rutherford taking a 25% pay cut. Rutherford says Confluence is also tapping into its reserves to help cover the losses and praised the work by employees in managing expenses.
