A ribbon cutting ceremony takes place today at the Washington State University bee research facility in Othello. It’s at the former Monsanto facility on W. Cunningham Rd. in Othello and Congressman Dan Newhouse will speak at the 3:00 p.m. ceremony. The Honey Bee and Pollinator Research, Extension, and Education Facility offers a new home for development of the world’s best programs to help save the bees. There will be tours available after the ribbon cutting.
