Moses Lake K-9 Rex helps capture a burglary suspect by following his scent for over a mile. Police say the suspect identified as Patrick Thomason was being stopped on Wheeler Road but Thomason took off eventually getting stuck on railroad tracks which is where he abandoned his truck and trailer. Rex and handler Officer Brad Zook were brought in and the trail led Rex to Thomason’s home where he was taken into custody.
