Architect’s renderings for Moses Lake’s new elementary school were revealed last week at the School Board’s meeting. Groff Elementary is slated to open in the fall of 2021 on South Cougar Drive east of State Route 17. The plans for the two-story building include 25 classrooms along with a multi-purpose cafeteria and gymnasium. Voters approved a bond issue to build two elementary schools but the board hasn’t firmed up plans for the second location.
