Quincy Getting Green Vehicles

The City of Quincy will be going green with some of its school buses and commercial vehicles thanks to a grant from a non-profit funded by Microsoft. The Minnesota-based “Environmental Initiative” awarded $100,000 to the City of Quincy for buting two dump trucks while the Quincy School District got around the same amount for two green-technology school buses. The new vehicles will generate much less air pollution than the ones being replaced.
