Super Bowl Sunday was less-than-super for a Moses Lake woman apprehended after a pursuit involving Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies. It started Sunday afternoon near Patton Boulevard and state Route 17 when a deputy spotted Erika Dee Merritts speeding and running a red light. Merritts refused to pull over and headed to the to the Diamond Point area, south of Cascade Valley. Merritts gave up on the Big Bend Community College campus after spike strips were deployed disabling her car.
