A Moses Lake wheat provider receives national recognition for having one of the highest crop yields in the country. The National Wheat Foundation named Derek Friehe as the first place finisher nationwide and first place in Washington in the Spring Wheat – Irrigated, High Yield Category using a variety of WestBred wheat. He won an all-expenses paid trip to San Antonio, Texas to attend the 2020 Commodity Classic.
