Fire severely damaged a Lakeview home resulting in the dwelling being declared uninhabitable. According to Grant County Fire District 7 Chief Kirk Sheppard the fire at the Ephrata Avenue started in the garage then spread to outbuildings and part of the house. Sheppard says damage to the electrical wiring made the home uninhabitable. No injuries were reported and the fire’s cause is still under investigation.
