Three haystack fires set on Saturday south of Othello are being investigated as suspicious. Police say the fires were discovered in the area of Eltopia West Road and Glade Road just west of the town of Eltopia. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office they are contacting the Grant County Fire Marshal’s office to confirm if the fires are connected to a string of haystack fires that happened last year.
