A new aircraft built by Mitsubishi that is undergoing flight tests in Moses Lake is now expected to go on sale next year. Testing of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet which is now called SpaceJet began in 2016 but design changes coupled with Mitsubishi’s purchase of competitor Bombardier’s regional jet program delayed the new aircraft’s delivery. A Mitsubishi spokesman says they already have 400 SpaceJet orders and All Nippon Airways will be the first to take delivery.
